Summary
Small town romance Second chance romance Alanah， has set off on a trip of a lifetime。 Her best friend from high school， Sasha Kennedy， has invited her to Trinity Lakes， Washington State， to be part of her wedding party。 South Australia to Trinity Lakes is literally the other side of the world， so Alanah has a full schedule of adventure planned while she's away。 A summer camp counselor; a trip to Canada; sightseeing in New York and Boston; and avoiding Sasha's twin-brother， Caleb。 But a silly accident puts Sasha out of commission for all the planned adventures， and Caleb is sent to retrieve his former high school sweetheart from the airport。 Eleven years should be enough time to have cooled the love Alanah and Caleb once shared。 Should be， but apparently not。 This is not a great thing to acknowledge considering Caleb has just announced his engagement to someone else。 Six months of avoiding Caleb-worse-avoiding feelings about Caleb-is going to be a long time。

This is book two in the Trinity Lakes series and I loved being back there。 In this book we see Alanah coming over to America to be bridesmaid for her friend Sasha who she was best friends with in high school in Australia。 Sasha's Brother Caleb is the boy she had a crush one and if his family had stayed in Australia may have had a chance of a relationship with。 But a long distance romance wasn't going to work。Now Caleb is engaged to Kyla and Alanah is ok with that。 There are still fireworks but s This is book two in the Trinity Lakes series and I loved being back there。 In this book we see Alanah coming over to America to be bridesmaid for her friend Sasha who she was best friends with in high school in Australia。 Sasha's Brother Caleb is the boy she had a crush one and if his family had stayed in Australia may have had a chance of a relationship with。 But a long distance romance wasn't going to work。Now Caleb is engaged to Kyla and Alanah is ok with that。 There are still fireworks but she knows there is no future。 Now Kyla is an interesting person。 We meet her in Never Find Another You by Narelle Atkins and could see she would be a problem。 Some characters got on with her but others were having issues。 These issues intensify in this book。 She is the character you love to dislike and makes a wonderful secondary character。 One thing I loved about this book is the touring Alanah does during her time there。 Especially when she was in Vancouver on her way back to Seattle and then to Trinity Lakes。 Having visited Vancouver， it reminded me of my times there。 Then the mention of Seattle It brought back very clear memories of my bus ride there to visit my friend。 I love books that bring back memories and are of places I know。 I felt like shaking Caleb at times and was glad when he did wise up about different issues。 I won't expand on this as you need to read to find out more。 I found the book so easy to read。 It flowed so well the further I got into it。 I can't wait for more in the series。 。。。more

This is the first book I have read by this author。 It was a very enjoyable read。Caleb and Alanah met several years ago when his family moved to Australia。 Both of them had already fallen for each other when his family decided to move back to the states。 They were heartbroken。 Would they ever find their way to each other again？ Would one of them be willing to leave their home country to be with the other one？I received a free ARC， and this is my honest opinion。

I really enjoyed this book。 It is a love story that encompasses two cultures and the author does a great job of introducing some of the cultural differences between the US and Australia。 The characters are very relatable - with flaws and characteristics we all share。 A delight to read！ I received an ARC copy of the book and this review is my own。

I absolutely fell in love with Alanah and Caleb！ I loved the references both to America and Australia。 The journey to their HEA was a joy to read and I loved how the issues both Caleb and Alanah dealt with were so true to life。 This is the first book I’ve read in this series and looking forward to reading more。 This is the 3rd book I’ve read by this author and I’ve become a true fan。I received an ARC of this story and the review is my own。
